So, Why Choose A Celebrant?

If you are planning a wedding, civil partnership, funeral or naming ceremony and would like someone to create a special and bespoke service, a Celebrant may be a good choice for you. Celebrants are creative facilitators who offer people an alternative approach to funerals, weddings, renewal of vows and naming ceremonies.

As a Celebrant I am neither religious instructor nor  atheist; I can accommodate some religious content, be it a hymn or a prayer, unlike a Humanist.

Lisa, The Celebrant and Individual

I trained with and am a member of  The Fellowship of Professional Celebrants. I work with people to create a service that truly reflects their wishes; my ceremonies are bespoke and can incorporate contributions from friends and relatives.  I am happy to conduct the service entirely on my own or act as a Master of Ceremonies.

I come from a performance and writing background, having worked as an actor, copywriter, corporate role player and communication coach. I have over thirty years experience in media, training and performance, and have practised as a Celebrant since 2013.

Working with both adults and young people from diverse cultures and backgrounds has given me a great understanding of people.   Having also studied Counselling I am empathic and able to offer support and guidance at stressful, emotional and sensitive times, as well as a creative approach.

Choosing the right celebrant is integral to your ceremony, so do call me for a chat to see how we can work together and create a day that is right for you and your family.
