A marriage ceremony is an opportunity for you to celebrate the success of your relationship so far and believe in your future together sharing love, friendship and commitment with those you care about and want to be part of your joy.

 

It is my job to reflect that, creating a ceremony that compliments who you both are.  To do this I need to hear your story and how you both connect.  I then write a bespoke ceremony that reflects your creativity as a couple, your culture, your individuality and your partnership.

Working with you

I want to hear your ideas, your plans and what your expectations are.  I will work with you to create the ceremony you are excited about and proud to share on the day.   I can advise on music, readings and design of the service as well as being MC if needed.

 

I present a first draft for your approval and rework until we are all happy and excited. Like any performance or ceremony it requires good planning and imagination.  My experience as a professional actor and writer compliments my skills as a celebrant and I can work with the whole team on the day to ensure success.

Signing and Sealing

As a Celebrant I offer you the choice of what you want to say - wedding vows can be traditional or unique, you can write them or I can suggest ideas… unlike a registrar.

 

However, to endorse the marriage and make it legal, a registrar is still needed either prior or after your ceremony at an approved venue.  Many couples like to keep the legal aspect of the marriage simple with a small gathering then have their main wedding ceremony with the Celebrant.

 

When you book me I don't rush off to another ceremony. I only do one wedding per day… So you have more flexibility on timings.  You are also free to marry in your back garden, the woods, a campsite, the beach, wherever you fancy.  Although do check there are not restrictions at the site.
